Rosa Parks(1913-2005) was a civil rights activist, and best known for her sparking the Montgomery Bus Boycott. On December 1st, 1955, Rosa Parks, who was sitting in the “colored section” of a Montgomery bus, refused to give up her seat to a white person just because the white seats were filled.
